DINING BY DESIGN GALA DINNER
6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
ADAC will host the Atlanta stop of the National Dining by Design touring event that benefits DIFFA: Design Industry Foundatiuon Fighting AIDS. This annual event features tables designed by both national and local design luminaries to stun and inspire with their whimsical and outrageous creativity. This famous event has now found its natural home at the Southeast's premier design center. Two events will be held in the newly created “DBD Pavilion” that will be erected behind the parking lot of ADAC West.
This premier event features installation previews, cocktails and table-hopping followed by a seated dinner, dancing and dessert. This not-to-be-missed celebration of limitless creativity will be catered by Atlanta's own design treasure and DIFFA Advisory Board Member, Tony Conway, of A Legendary Event.

The Atlanta Decorative Arts Center (ADAC) is proud to welcome seven new showrooms. The following new showrooms provide a fantastic array of new products and designer services.
 Ebanista
Ebanista is a superlative collection of extraordinary furnishing and objets d’ art that has become an important source for leading designers from coast to coast. Their twelfth and most highly anticipated Atlanta showroom is scheduled to open Ooctober 1st on the second floor. Known for their ultra-chic antiquarian style displayed in a museum-like setting, the showroom will offer an eclectic selection of furnishing, antiques, textiles, rugs, paintings, lighting, sculptures, ceramics, silver and bronzes. Through some of the nation’s most influential design firms, many pieces from the Ebanista collection have been specified and installed in some of the most celebrated homes, as well as such prestigious projects as The Four Seasons Aviara, The Biltmore Santa Barbara, The Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay, The Four Seasons Private Residences - Denver, and Caesars Palace just to name a few. Ebanista’s General Manager, Mr. Lee Poole, along with East Coast Regional Manager, Mrs. Andrea Brooke, look forward to personally meeting all of ADAC’s wonderful design community. Suite 210.
 Amy Howard
Amy Howard’s lifestyle showroom is a must see for those with discerning taste. Amy has brought her passion for hand-painted, bench-made furniture, fine design and luxurious fashions to Atlanta to share with the design community and connoisseurs of continental design. Suite 311.
 Björk Antikt
Swedish importer Björk Antikt announces the opening of their designer showroom at ADAC West – specializing in vintage and antique Mid-Century Modern, Art Deco, Art Moderne and Biedermeier furniture, upholstery, lighting and accessories. Björk Antikt will also feature their own vintage reproduction upholstery to the design trade. Additional lines new to ADAC include Roe & Co. and exclusive designer upholstery line – The Charles Stewart Company. Suite D4, ADAC West.
 Century Furniture:
Lucky Thirteen!
Century Furniture proudly opens their thirteenth showroom in the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center (ADAC). Century is a designer’s total resource, having a comprehensive line of upholstery, wood products – available in over 50 finishes – and luxury outdoor furniture. The new showroom features an assortment of these products as well as accessories, artwork, rugs and lighting to complement; all available for immediate sale off the floor. Matthew Quinn Collection
Matthew Quinn Collection will showcase the finest international offerings of architectural and decorative hardware. Featuring unique, innovative, and original selections, the new luxury boutique showroom will highlight hardware selection as an individual component of the design process. The Matthew Quinn Collection will offer a full service voyage from the selection process through purchase, placement, and installation standards for each piece of hardware. Suite B5A, ADAC West.
Soon to be Announced
The next new ADAC showroom will feature high-end Asian antiques. Much like the massive handpainted Tibetan doors featured in the picture, each exquisite piece will be hand selected and 100% authentic. Tthe new showroom will be opening in the Fall, so expect a GRAND OPENING party invitation in the near future.
Harmonious Living by Tish Mills, LLC
Harmonious Living by Tish Mills, LLC is a regional and national award-winning design firm that blends the traditional
principles of interior design with the practice of Feng Shui to create peaceful and balanced spaces. Projects range from transitional-to-traditional design. The firm is currently doing projects in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina,
Arizona and Washington State. Studio B5B Collection of lamps, candleholders and planters available through PierceMartin are the creation of the principle, Tish Mills. Suite B5B, ADAC West.

Another Successful Market!
Designers from all across the 10 state region enjoyed another incredibly successful Design ADAC market Co-Sponsored by Veranda. This year industry professionals were welcomed by the new “ADAC Ambassadors” comprised of 10 students from the Gwinnett Technical Institute. The students added a new dimension of helpful excitement to this special event and enjoyed an opportunity to meet and learn from many of the industry’s leading professionals.

This year’s market also featured a brand new event, “Diamonds for DIFFA” which offered guests a chance to win a one carat diamond from Mednikow Jewelers while raising $5,000 for the Atlanta Chapter of DIFFA:Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS. Christine Lowe, of Sharian, Inc. Oriental Rugs, was our lucky winner!
